Brett is an employment law specialist with substantial experience in labour and general litigation before the employment tribunals, the Labour Courts and the High Courts. He regularly conducts arbitrations in the employment tribunals and litigation in Labour Court. He is experienced in conducting employment related due diligence work and has advised multinational corporations on the employment related implications of doing business in South Africa, both in relation to compliance with local legislation, as well as in relation to the employment related consequences of business transfers (including litigation arising out of such transfers).
Brett has extensive experience in the mining and metals industries and advising mining clients on all employment law matters, with a particular focus on unfair dismissals, strike management and the regulation of the relationship between mine management and trade unions.
Brett is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He has B.Com and LLB degrees from Nelson Mandela University.

• Currently a Part-time Senior Commissioner, Winnie was formerly the Convening Senior Commissioner of the CCMA Tshwane region, and she headed the Employment Security Unit which focused on fair retrenchment procedures and job-saving initiatives.
• Winnie is a Director of PTF Business Consulting where she specialises in workplace investigations, chairing, training and policy development.
• She is co-author of two books: Labour Law Through the Cases and The Conciliation and Arbitration Handbook, both published by LexisNexis.
• She obtained her BA LLB at the University of Cape Town where she is currently completing her Masters degree with specialisation in Labour Law.
Dunstan Farrell has been a practicing attorney for 38 years, specialising in the field of Employment Law for 25 of those years.
