The SASLAW Young Scholars Society (YSS) is excited to host another Hybrid Conference this year, taking place on 29 March 2025 from 09:00 to 13:00 at the A LES G01 -Auckland Park, Kingsway Campus, University of Johannesburg and via Zoom Platform.


The conference programme is designed to advance labour law as both a legal and academic discipline encouraging collaboration among labour law students and professionals.

    Her experience includes advising clients on various employment law-related issues such as unfair dismissals, unfair discrimination, unfair labour practices, retrenchments and whistleblowing.
    In addition, Lara is also experienced in personal injury litigation and has assisted clients in matters involving medical negligence and Road Accident Fund claims.
    Lara is a member of the South African Society for Labour Law’s Young Scholar Society (“SASLAW YSS”) where she serves as a representative of the Western Cape.
