The SASLAW Western Cape Chapter will be hosting the year end seminar, where the SASLAW Pro-Bono participating firms and attorneys will be acknowleged for their support and asisstance to the NPC project followed by a seminar presentation by

Bradly Conradie of BCHC Attorneys on the topic:


"The LRA: what works, what doesn't and how should it be changed?"

Bradley Conradie will present an insightful address, based on his vast experience in the field, on whether the LRA is fulfilling its purpose and how it could be improved.


Bradley has more than 20 years' experience as a labour lawyer.

He is also a co-author of the leading publication on labour law in South Africa – Labour Relations Law: A Comprehensive Guide (Lexis Nexis) and a co-author of Strikes and the Law (Lexis Nexis).


Bradley acted as a Judge in the Labour Court on several occasions and is a past National President and honorary member of the South African Society for Labour Law (SASLAW).

    Bradley has more than 20 years’ experience as a labour lawyer. He has a BA degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town, an LL.B degree from the University of the Western Cape and an LL.M degree in Labour Law from the University of Cape Town.

    After completing his master’s degree, Bradley joined Cheadle Thompson & Haysom attorneys as a candidate attorney in 1997.

    In 2003 Bradley joined the Employment Law Department of Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs where he later became a partner.

    Bradley has been chosen by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers® list of Solicitors for South Africa in the area of Labour and Employment Law. He has also been included in WHO’S WHO LEGAL as a leading practitioner in the field of employment law.
