Senior Commissioner Pieter Venter of the CCMA will be presenting:

"CCMA - Recent Case Law Update"


Pieter Venter is a Senior Commissioner and the Manager: Employee Relations and Engagement.


Pieter is an admitted advocate and has practised many years from the Free State Advocates Society (bar). Pieter started as a Part-Time Commissioner in 2006 and has for numerous years served in this portfolio for the CCMA as well as various Bargaining Councils.


Pieter was previously employed by the Department of Correctional Services as well as the Public Service Association and has acted as a Judge in the Labour Court on a pro bono basis.


Pieter was also the Chairperson of the CCMA's Rules Task Team.
