You are invited to the first SASLAW Gauteng Chapter Hybrid seminar for 2022, which will be held on Wednesday 31 August for 17h30 at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr in Sandton as well as online via zoom should you wish to join virtually instead.

    Barry Gordon-Davis is a Litigation Manager at LabourNet specializing specifically in Labour Law. Barry has a BCom degree in Industrial Psychology (RAU), BCom (Hons) degree in Industrial Psychology (UJ), Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law (UJ) and has been consulting since 2005.

    Barry manages a portfolio of corporate clients for LabourNet including both local and international clients in various industries including insurance, financial services consulting, fast moving consumer goods, mining, media, retail, manufacturing and information technology services.

    Barry advises clients on Industrial relations, collective bargaining and Labour dispute resolution. He counsels clients on strategic issues such as the Labour-related implications of mergers, restructuring and retrenchments. Barry liaises and negotiates with Trade Unions on behalf of clients and assists in concluding collective and recognition agreements between them. Barry and has extensive experience in advising clients on dismissals relating to misconduct, ill health, poor work performance and operational requirements.
