Reynaud Daniels specialises in labour law. He has extensive litigation experience and regularly appears in the CCMA, bargaining councils and the Labour Courts. He also advised employees and various trade unions on all aspects of labour law. He has litigated in several precedent-setting cases, including the Constitutional Court decisions in Equity Aviation Services (Pty) Ltd v CCMA & others; and SATAWU and Others v Moloto N.O. and Another.
Reynaud has also served as an acting judge of the Labour Court.
He served on the editorial board of the Journal for the International Centre for Trade Union Rights (ICTUR) from 2019 to 2021.
Reynaud is ranked by Global Chambers and Partners, an international ranking entity, and The Legal 500 for his expertise in employment law.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Cape Town (1991) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Western Cape (1994). He followed this with a Master of Laws (LLM) with honours in International Human Rights in 2006 from Northwestern University, Illinois, USA, and successfully attended a course in media law at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2009.

Irshaad Savant is a partner at Motsoeneng Bill Incorporated and a member of the national committee of the South African Society for Labour Law. He has extensive experience in employment law and has represented clients in precedent setting matters. Irshaad has also worked on high value cross border transactions that have had employment law consequences (Africa and other regions). He has also been instrumental in settling significant disputes.
