You are invited to the SASLAW Eastern Cape Chapter's Seminar on Wednesday, 14 September 2022

Advocate Francois le Roux will be presenting on the following topic:

REVIEW APPLICATIONS: WHEN THE WHEELS COME OFF: Starting late, dragging your feet, or just generally messing up when reviewing an award.

This talk sets out the legal position in respect of review applications that are not instituted timeously, or that are not prosecuted diligently. It will also deal with the implications of non-compliance with the Labour Court Practice Manual and with Rule 11 applications for dismissal of review applications on account of lack of timeous prosecution.

Advocate Le Roux has extensive experience in Labour Court practice and procedure, having practiced as both an attorney and advocate, and recently acted as a Labour Court Judge.

Join us for what will undoubtedly be an informative and engaging discussion.
