I joined the bar in 2000 after having worked as an attorney at Cheadle Thompson and Haysom, where I commenced articles in 1993, and Deneys Reitz. I was conferred Silk in 2019. I have spent my entire career in the field of Labour Law, acting for employers, trade unions and individuals. In this process I have been involved in a number of interest arbitrations on behalf of trade unions. I have witnessed at first hand the failures of the current system and the frustrations this is causing amongst trade unions and their members who are essential service workers.
